We have a number of experience opportunities for young volunteers aged between 17-21yrs. If you are looking to shadow a theatre professional, and want to have direct experience of teaching and working with children, then please get in contact with us. But before you do, first think about how far you can travel, what hours you can offer and on what days and for how long for. Its important to consider these as we will only consider young people who are serious about the opportunities we are offering.

If you are an adult looking to volunteer your time, we have a number of opportunities including areas such as: costume making, set building, stage management, administration, and assisting in classes.

All applicants that are aged 18 and over must have an up to date CRB disclosure certificate appropriate for their status in the company that they have successfully applied for directly through Intrepid. We will process the application for free through an organisation we use, but the applicant pays for the certificate.

Also before we consider taking an individual on as an unpaid volunteer or paid teacher or artist. Each person will undergo our own vetting procedure and receive our own in house training.

We will continue to access each individual throughout their time with Intrepid to ensure that both parties are happy with the role within the company.

Although Intrepid are a small family run company, we do try and look after everyone that comes into contact with Intrepid and make their time with us a happy one.
